Pearl millet/ Bajra:
The most extensively cultivated millet is pearl millet. Large stems, leaves, and heads characterize this summer cereal grass. Bajra(pearl millet) is a type of millet and is one of the most cultivated crops in India. It is a short-duration crop and can be grown in both rain fed and irrigated conditions. Bajra is a rich source of proteins, minerals, and vitamins and is a good source of energy. It is also a good source of dietary fiber.
